Winter Adapted Book: "Three Little Snowmen"
This Winter Adapted Book: Three Little Snowmen is a simple and fun way to practice position words with your students. This book focuses on the position words, "first, last, middle, left, right, and center.
In a small group, the teacher or therapist reads the book with students as students follow along and identify the position of the snowmen on each page by matching a picture to each page.
Students working independently can read and work through the book in a literacy center, or independent workstation.
Sample text:
"Three little snowmen, standing in a row.
Three little snowmen, ready for more snow!
Where are they standing, we have to know?
Who's in the middle?"
