The "Where is Chicky Hiding?" is an interactive adapted book teaches prepositions or positional words and reinforces colors and color words.
In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the story as the students identify Chicky's 's position in relation to each colored Easter egg on each page. Students will match a position or preposition card to each page as the teacher reads. Students working independently can work through the book in a literacy center or independent workstation.

"Where is Chicky hiding?
Where can he be?
He's ________ (between) the green eggs,
As we can plainly see!"
