This Spring Adapted Book: "Where is Froggy Hiding?" is a grog themed interactive book that teaches prepositions or positional words and reinforces colors and color words.
In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the story as the students identify Froggy's position in relation to each colored lily pad on each page. Students will match a position or preposition card to each page as the teacher reads. Students working independently can work through the book in a literacy center or independent workstation.
Sample Verse:
"Where is Froggy hiding?
Where can he be?
He's ________ (on top of) the blue lily pad,
As we can plainly see!"
