Where Do We Go? Adapted Book (Our Community Edition)

This Adapted Book, "Where Do We Go?" (Our Community Edition) focuses on problem solving skills, and the "Wh-" question word, "Where?"

In this activity, students are asked where they need to go to complete a task. They are given a clue and a group of objects associated with a particular location as a hint. They must answer the question, "Where do we go?" to solve the problem.

For example in this "Our Community," Edition,  Students must answer the question, by choosing the correct location in the community.

Sample text:

"Hey! Hey! What do you say?

We need mail a package today.

Where do we go?"

(Answer:  Post Office)

In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the book to a small group of students, and students must choose the correct answer from a field of pictures.

Students working at an independent level, can read and work through the book at a literacy center or work station.
