"I See" Going Camping Adapted Book (w-Real Photos)

This Camping Adapted Book, "I See," Going Camping focuses on identifying camping themed objects by attribute, or function and includes real photos of things commonly seen on a camping trip.

In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads through the book with students as students try to solve the riddle by identifying the camping themed object and matching piece that best fits the description.

Sample Text:

"I see. I see.

 What can it be?

 It's something we carry our supplies in...

(Students find the picture and turn the page to see the answer revealed.)

It's a backpack!

That's right!

We carry our supplies in a backpack."

After the students have worked through the book, there is an extension activity included where they can practice creating their own summer themed riddles. Students working independently may work through the book at a literacy center.
