These Bunny Adapted Books, "Moving Like Bunny" and "Hungry Hungry Bunny," and "Whose Tail Is On the Trail?" focus on gross motor movement, imitation, number identification, identifying number words, and identifying color words and in a fun and interactive way.

 

In "Moving Like Bunny" students chant the rhyme, get moving, and get their wiggles out!

Bunny says, "Look at me!" "Look what I can do!"

"I can wobble like an egg."

"Can you wobble too?"

 

Bunny says, "Look at me!" "Look what I can do!"

"I can bounce on fuzzy feet."

"Can you bounce too?"

 

Bunny says, "Look at me!" "Look what I can do!"

"I can tap my furry belly?

"Can you tap yours too?"

 

Students can match a picture of the correct movement to each page and do the movement. There are also "movement cards" included that can be used to play "Bunny Says..." or to practice movements and get the wiggles out any time students need a brain break.

 

In the second adapted book, "The Hungry Hungry Bunny," our bunny is very hungry and needs to be fed. But which carrot should we feed him? A therapist or teacher will read the book to students, as students follow along and find the carrot by identifying a number and feed it to the bunny.

 

Sample Rhyme:

 

Hungry Hungry Bunny--he's ready for some fun.

Feed Bunny, carrot number one.

 

Hungry Hungry Bunny--still hungry, yes--it's true!

Feed Bunny, carrot number two.

 

In the third book, "Whose Tail Is On The Trail?" students practice identifying colors and color words. Each page reveals a bunny's tail--that is a certain color, and students must find the bunny it belongs to.
